About This App

This tool helps Muslims in Malaysia determine if their travel distance qualifies them for Jamak (combining) and Qasar (shortening) prayers.

Distance Thresholds

• 81 km: Widely accepted in Malaysia as dua marhalah (two stages of travel).
• 90 km: Used by some scholars based on alternative interpretations.

The calculation uses the great-circle (Haversine) distance between two points. This app is for informational purposes only; consult your local imam for religious guidance.
